5th Grade:
- 5th Grade Parent Night/Band Tryouts @ CMS – Wednesday May 15, 2024 from 5:30p-7:00p.
6th Grade:
- 6th Grade Awards Ceremony – Monday May 20, 2024 at 9:00a – CMS Gym (please park in the bus loop parking lot, not the front parking lot)
- 6th Grade Field Trip to Ouray – Tuesday May 21, 2024 from 8:30a-3:00p
7th Grade:
- 7th Grade Awards Ceremony – Tuesday May 21, 2024 at 9:00a – CMS Gym (please park in the bus loop parking lot, not the front parking lot)
- 7th Grade Field Trip/Picnic to River Bottom Park (students will be walking to and from River Bottom Park) – 11:00a – 3:00p
8th Grade:
- 8th Grade Ceremony Rehearsal – Tuesday May 21, 2024 at 11:00a
- 8th Grade Awards Ceremony – Tuesday May 21, 2024 at 1:30p – CMS Gym (please park in the bus loop parking lot, not the front parking lot)
- 8th Grade Dance – Tuesday May 21, 2024 from 3:00p-5:00p (following the awards ceremony)
- 8th Grade Breakfast and Movie – Wednesday May 22, 2024 @ 8:30a in the cafeteria
All Grades:
- Field Day – Wednesday May 22, 2024 from 1:15-3:30p – CMS fields
- Talent Show/End of Year Assembly (half day of school, 12:15p release of students) – CMS Gym

We will be launching our fundraiser using the Raise365 App and wanted to answer any questions you may have. Fundraising is vital for the success of our program, and we truly need to raise funds. The grade level that raises the most money will be rewarded with an ice cream party and extra recess!!! The first and most important step in starting this fundraiser is asking that each parent/guardian help their child gather emails and cell phone numbers of their 25 biggest supporters
(parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, older siblings, extended family and former college friends, etc...).

The fundraiser will be open for 10-14 days, but the launch is the most important time to reach as many people as possible.
We are confident there are many people eager to support our students, and the Raise365 Fundraiser App makes it easy and efficient to do so.
OUR GOAL IS TO RAISE FUNDS TO PURCHASE FULL SETS OF NOVELS FOR CLASSROOMS, PURCHASE SUPPLIES FOR THE SCHOOL STORE, REPLACE BROKEN AND MISSING PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT, AND SUPPLIES FOR TEACHERS TO USE IN THEIR CLASSROOMS!

Sports Physicals
If you plan on playing any sports during the school year, you'll need to have a current (within the past 12 months) physical on file with the office. Physicals can be taken care of through your primary care doctor, urgent care for $20, or other medical professionals in town.
